Introduction

Haldia Energy Limited (HEL) is a subsidiary of CESC Limited, a flagship power utility of the RP-SG group of companies. The company has developed a 2 X 300 MW coal based thermal power plant at Baneswarchak, Haldia, East Medinipur, West Bengal, India.

Electrical department of Haldia Municipality consisting of one sub assistant engineer one electrician and three lightmen.

Street light maintenance maintained by the casual staffs.

For maintenance of park, auditorium, hostels, administrative building and street lights have been maintained by the engaged agency.

Maintenance of pumps, motors have also been done by the engaged agency duly supervised by the electrical department.
